Grenache blanc
(Belan, Garnaxta, Grenache blanc, Grenaš bijeli, Silla Blanc)
White wine
Grenache Blanc is a white sort originating from Spain. It has a good grape crop and it shows its full potential only when the crop is reduced. This sort gives very interesting wines with no malolactic fermentation, of course only with the proper vinification.
The wine is straw-yellow and has considerable amounts of alcohol. The acids in the wine are only present in cold climates, but in warm climates their presence is hardly noticeable. The aroma reminds of green apples and tangerines, with a slight peach flavor.
