Dobričić
(Crljenak slatinski, Dobričić, Dobričić crni, Okručanac, Plavac veliki, Slatinjac, Slatinjanac, Čihovac, Šiljak, Šoltanac)
Red wine
Dobričić is an old sort originally from Dalmatia. It is known for its extraordinary dark ruby- red color and it is probably a genetic ancestor of the Plavac Mali. It is grown on Šolta, and the production has declined so dramatically, that it´s practically dying out. The reason for this is its sensitivity to downy mildew.
Dobričić has a full, sour and bitter taste. The color is very dark and it´s dense.
