Bogdanuša
(Bogdanuša, Bogdanuša bijela, Bogdanuša mala)
White wine
Bogdanuša is a white autochthonous Croatian sort, which is mainly grown on the island Hvar, where it originated from. The legend says that this wine was only drunk at some religious holidays. This is also how it got the name Bogdanuša (given by God).
The wine has a golden color, it´s dry and tastes like sherry and has more than 13% alcohol.
