Auxerrois
(Auxerrois, Auxerrois bijeli, Auxerrois blanc)
White wine
Auxerrois is a historical term for a French province, which was a part of Burgundy. This white sort was named after it. It came into existence during a spontaneous crossing between the Pinot and Guaise Blanc.
It belongs to the Burgundy family.
The wine has a neutral taste, with lots of acids and a high percentage of alcohol. It reminds of white Burgundy wine, but it´s less sour. The aroma should taste like asparagus and fresh cut grass(?!).
