Vranac

Vranac is an autochthonous sort, which is grown on the grounds of Montenegro for centuries. We can find it mainly in the area of Crmnica.

Many sunny days, warm climate, pebbly grounds and the absence of rainfall are a prerequisite for this sort to succeed. It also succeeds on Croatian grounds, mainly in Dalmatian Zagora.

It has a good and regular yield and a high percentage of sugar.

The wine of this sort has 12-14% alcohol and a pleasant taste.
