Red wine
Although the wine implicates Portuguese origin, it is more likely that it comes from Austria.
This is a red sort, which mostly gives boring wines. The reason for this unfortunate fact is early ripening and a large yield. The wine tastes like strawberries, blackberries and sour cherries. It has from 9 to 12% alcohol and is not suitable for storing. The wine is supposedly best during fermentation, hence very young…
This sort was used to make the very famous Hungarian sort "Bull´s blood", but it was replaced with Frankovka.
